Don't Let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believer in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.
1 Timothy 4:9
Hi ladies!
This blog is for you! Here we can all go through different devotionals together, learning more about God and growing in our faith. I am excited to hop on the ride with all of you. Sometimes we get caught up in everything going on around us that we forget that God's Word really relates to our lives and can help us through the things we care most about like our future, friendships, family, dating, and image. God has a lot to say about those things. I hope that through our devotionals you will all be able to find the images that bring life, hope, and happiness. To help us out, I am going to use my True Images NIV Bible, that holds some of these great devotionals.
While looking through the Bible I found a covenant (don't worry, it's not one of Mr. Garnier's that says we can't whine). After reading it, I thought to myself, "Anne, this seems like a great thing to share with the girls!" It is called the covenant of a True Images girl, Every couple of posts through the devotional I'll highlight a part of the covenant. Eventually, we will finish it and you guys can sign it!
The first point of the covenant that I would like to share is the last one, I feel that it is really relevant to us.
"A True Images girl is never alone. She knows that there are other girls out there who are striving to live for Christ just as she is."
~Covenant of a True Images Girl
Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
Romans 12:4-5
I want this blog to be for you guys so if you have ANY suggestions, ideas, questions, or anything! Let me know. I'll be in touch with a couple of you, so that we can come up with an idea for what to study first.
Once again I am so excited and blessed to be doing this with all of you!
Have a wonderful week!
Anne :)
