66 From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.
67 “You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve.
68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.”
You can look for it in friends. You can look for it in family. You can look for it in money, cloths, and nice things. You can look for it in beauty and in having others admire you. You can look for it in the success of being the best. You can look for it in drinking and drugs. You can look for a purpose in life that goes beyond today and reaches into the future and only find it in one place: Jesus. He alone has the words of eternal life. Look for it in him.
